Letsoaka joining Celtics

beatenbergBloemfontein Celtic have secured the services of Serame Letsoaka as their new coach, a day after he tendered his resignation from Lamontville Golden Arrows.  The former South Africa Under-20 mentor joins Siwelele after the departure of Clinton Larsen last week and will immediately take charge of the team.  Celtic chairman Max Tshabalala who claims that he did not make Letsoaka an offer before he resigned from his former club, expressed his excitement at the appointment of 52-year-old fomer Bafana Bafana assistant coach. Tokyo Sexwale has released the manifesto

FIFA presidential hopeful Tokyo Sexwale has released the manifesto around which his campaign will run.  The South African businessman is one of five candidates fighting it out for the game’s top job, which will be decided in February next year.  Among the issues he will be addressing is the fight against racism, the imbalances of the confederations and more transparency regards to the sponsors. Safpu on the insurance payout

Safpu wants the insurance money for Senzo Meyiwa, Cecil Lolo and Richard Henyekane to be paid to the families inkabelo full. The South African Football Players Union (Safpu) said it will fight for the insurance money for Senzo Meyiwa, Cecil Lolo and Richard Henyekane to be paid to the families in full.  This comes after it emerged recently that the Meyiwa, Lolo and Henyekane families will receive half of the insurance payouts, with the other half going to Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Free State Stars respectively. The song most relevant to this situation is:

Banele Sindani shot and killed

sabelo mthembuFormer Athletics South Africa (ASA) and South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) CEO Banele Sindani has passed away. Sindani was shot in the abdomen by three robbers who broke into his house in the early hours of this morning in Ruimsig, West of Johannesburg.  He was the first CEO of SASCOC in 2005. He had earlier been CEO of Athletics South Africa under its controversial president Leonard Chuene.  Sindani’s current position in athletics was as an official in the Soweto Marathon Trust. The song most relevant to this situation is:

 Oscar Pistorius was found guilty of murder

The Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) on Thursday found that Oscar Pistorius was guilty of murdering Reeva simphiwe danaSteenkamp. It overturned the culpable homicide conviction imposed on him by the high court in Pretoria in September last year. The court found in favour of the state in two of the three questions of law reserved by the high court to be determined by the SCA. It found that the principles of dolus eventualis were incorrectly applied by the high court. The song most relevant to this situation is:
