Day 5: Road trip in the East and West Cape

Of we went to Knysna. Now, if you have never been there listening to me when I say. She didn’t disappoint.
Her undeniable beauty had us singing along to Juluka to serenade. To give you context, here is a little know fact.
It is said that when God created the earth he made Pretoria for the government, Cape Town for the politicians, Joburg for the investment bankers.
But Knysna he left for himself. You only have to see the view from the mountain pass to understand that when the Almighty goes on holiday. He goes to Knysna.
With just rain and no sunshine, Knysna was just strutting her stuff as if the weather was just a bad hair day.
We checked into the Knysna Lodge, a cabin style house up on the heights. Greyston was our host. But his interchangeable use of the letters R and L made it obvious that he has a lot in common with a prophet who skipped bail. The lodge was adorned with a view that goes as far into the sea as far as your eyes can see. With the rain bucketing a night on the town seemed irresponsible. So we went to the local PnP got some meats and charcoal for a braai. Spent the night with a dip in the jacuzzi and tossed chop.
